Students Share at Women’s Research Symposium

º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½ hosted its first Women’s Research Symposium. Developed by veteran Human Development and Psychology professor, Deb Baker, women of the LPU community were invited to come and hear from staff, faculty, and student presenters on their research regarding different topics. 

Students Ceci Martinez and Rebekah Coleman – both Human Development and Psychology seniors – shared their research findings conducted in Professor Deb Baker’s Research Methods class, practically applying education given within the classroom to life outside it. Ceci shared her research on adoption between single and married individuals. Rebekah shared her research gathered on whether spiritual abuse in one’s Church upbringing has a direct effect on their religious association as an adult. 

This event was a success and we are looking forward to platforming the hard work and intentional research of our students, staff, and faculty more in the upcoming years.
